Description
This member-to-member conversational webinar discussed how PM&R can position itself as the essential specialty for COVID-19 survivors. We have heard concerns that survivors will need/greatly beneit from some rehabilitation after 1 or more weeks on a ventilator (deconditioning, breathing issues, neuro issues, etc.). How can physiatrists help them regain their quality of life? What are the issues in the inpatient side vs. outpatient side? What are the risks if PM&R does step into this role?
