The Certification Exam Prep Qbank is intended to assist physiatrists to prepare for the ABPMR Part I Primary Certification and MOC Recertification exams. 

Originally published in 2015, content has been reviewed by members of the Academy's Self-Assessment Committee to ensure questions are clinically relevant, with updated references when possible. Per item-writing best practices, questions were edited to make them clearer to ensure a quality user experience. The format of the resource as a self-assessment and study tool, as well its teaching points, are consistent with the 2015 version.

This learning activity meets the criteria for the Part II: Life-long Learning and Self-Assessment component of the ABPM&R's Maintenance of Certification^©program.You can skip questions and return to them later, however, you must answer all questions to submit the assessment for grading.

Because of the design, your grade will be 100%. Your “initial score”, shown after test completion, will gauge how many questions were answered correctly. You can return to the assessment for further review after submitting the self-assessment for grading.

• Recognize appropriate clinical management strategies and apply these techniques and knowledge into their practice.
• Assess the current state of their knowledge specific to the activity topic and identify knowledge gaps in which additional study is needed.
