The Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellow's National Webinar Series is hosted by Sue Mukherjee MD, FRCPC. The curriculum was originally devised by Robert Rinaldi, Margaret (Peggy) Turk, and Frank Pidcock, with input from other fellowship program directors. The goal is to provide fellow-level education on the art and science of pediatric rehabilitation medicine, and the state of pediatric rehabilitation research in various topic areas. The organizers appreciate the AAPM&R Medical Education Committee's cooperation in providing this access to the archived Webinars to fellows, residents and AAPM&R members.
This session addresses implications for measurement and treatment of spasticity, where spasticity is defined as a disorder of stretch reflex function and not an abnormality in muscle tone.
